Under Glass consists of a unique perspective, as the series has been photographed from under a large piece of glass. Photography which offers a distinctive viewpoint by presenting portraits that evoke the examination of a subject as if observed through a petri dish. Staged tableaux placed on glass to convey new links between objects and the archetypes they carry. The tableaux combine to provoke ideas of identity, which are expressed through symbols, popular culture and mythological icons. Under Glass has been selected for the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards Exhibition in Barcelona and commissioned for a book cover.
