Pharma Flora: Medical Marijuana An alternative to pain management

This series explores the use of marijuana as an alternative to pain management.  Each image looks closely at the flower which currently challenges conventional pharmaceutical medication. Many countries have legalized this plant and recognize it as an alternative to pharmaceutical opioids. Marijuana plants have hundreds of chemicals, known as cannabinoids which can be helpful for some health issues.  Pharma Flora is my attempt to look to nature for alternatives. This series was selected for the Pollux Awards and was the Judges Choice for the All Botanicals Contemporary Gallery Exhibition and Grayscale Wonderland, BG Gallery, Bergamot Station Santa Monica, USA.
