Seamless is a series that uses stockings to symbolize the human body merging with nature, exploring the idea of balance between humanity and the environment. The stockings, typically a symbol of protection or adornment, here become a conduit through which the body blends into the natural world, reflecting our interconnectedness with nature. The series highlights the fragility of both the body and the environment. Just as stockings can stretch or tear, so too can ecosystems be fragile and vulnerable. Through this seamless integration of body and nature, the images show how light, texture, and form create a harmonious relationship between the body and its surroundings, suggesting that we are not separate from the earth, but part of it. This work is part of the LA Billboard Art Exhibition 2025 and has been shown at Arts Benecia, CA and selected for the Royal Society of Birmingham Artists Photography Prize 2025, UK.
